Commander Keen 5: The Armageddon Machine is the fifth installment in the classic Commander Keen platformer series and the second chapter of the Goodbye, Galaxy saga. Players once again step into the shoes of Billy Blaze, an eight-year-old genius turned interstellar hero, as he infiltrates the Shikadi’s deadly warship, the Omegamatic. His mission: destroy four protective machines guarding the ship’s core to prevent galactic annihilation.

The game blends exploration and fast-paced platforming, featuring a top-down map for level selection and side-scrolling stages filled with robots, hazards, and locked doors. Keen’s trusty raygun and pogo stick offer dynamic movement and combat, while collectibles like keycards, Vitalin jars, and bonus items add depth.
