Play Davids Kong Online

You play as some guy named David scrambling up ladders while dodging falling junk—the physics wobble like the game’s making it up as it goes, and that weird little tune won’t leave your head.

Game Overview

David’s Kong is one of those weird little MS-DOS games that somehow sticks with you—like that one janky arcade cabinet at the back of a pizza place that only takes quarters sometimes. You play as David (who, as far as I can tell, has nothing to do with slingshots or giants), climbing ladders and dodging whatever the game throws at you—barrels, maybe? Honestly, half the fun is figuring out what’s even happening.

The pixel art is gloriously chunky, the controls are simple but just slippery enough to keep you on your toes, and the whole thing feels like someone’s fever dream of Donkey Kong after too much caffeine. There’s something oddly satisfying about the way the physics wobble, like the game itself isn’t entirely sure how it works. And that soundtrack? It’ll burrow into your brain and live there rent-free.

If you’ve ever lost hours to Lode Runner or Dig Dug, this is the kind of obscure little time-waster you’ll either love or stare at in confused admiration. Either way, it’s a trip.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
