The controls are simple (left, right, jump), but the levels get sneaky fast, tossing fireballs and conveyor belts at you when you least expect it.

First time I played, I thought I’d breeze through it—how hard could dodging barrels be? Turns out, pretty hard. The timing’s brutal in that classic arcade way where you’ll replay the same section six times just to nail it. The pixel art’s chunky and charming, and that tinny soundtrack somehow never gets old.

If you’ve got a soft spot for games where every death feels like your fault (and also maybe the game’s a little), this one’s a solid time-waster. Just don’t throw your keyboard when the springs knock you into an enemy for the tenth time.
