Kung Fu Panda: Legendary Warriors came out for the Nintendo DS in 2008, developed by Vicarious Visions. It was one of those tie-in games that showed up around the time of the movie, and it fit right in with the DS library's mix of licensed titles and touchscreen experiments.
You control Po and the Furious Five, switching between them to use their unique abilities across side-scrolling levels. The main goal is to fight through waves of enemies and occasional bosses, using the stylus to swipe, tap, and slash in rhythm with on-screen prompts. You explore areas screen by screen, unlocking paths and collecting coins to upgrade your characters. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty stays manageable, though some boss fights demand precise timing. It feels silly and energetic, like you're acting out a cartoon fight with your own hands.
