Legend of Saladir was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, though I don't recall the original developer or publisher. It came out during a time when many games relied on keyboard commands and simple graphics, fitting right in with other dungeon crawlers from that era.

You control a lone adventurer exploring a dark, interconnected world filled with monsters and traps. The main goal is to gather several ancient artifacts scattered across the map, which requires careful navigation and combat. Signature mechanics include mixing reagents to create spells with unpredictable results, and mapping each room by hand since the game provides no automap. The pacing is slow and deliberate, with a high difficulty that punishes carelessness. Playing it feels like solving a complex, dangerous puzzle where every small victory matters.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
