Quest for Glory III: Wages of War came out in 1992 from Sierra On-Line, a solid MS-DOS title that fit right in with the era's point-and-click adventures. It continued the series' blend of RPG and adventure mechanics, offering a distinct experience compared to many of its contemporaries.

You control a hero who travels to the savannah of Tarna, tasked with preventing a war between local tribes. The game blends screen-by-screen exploration with real-time combat, using either a sword or bow, and incorporates puzzle solving and spellcasting. The pacing can be deliberate, with some challenging logic puzzles and combat encounters. It feels like a thoughtful journey where your choices in character development and diplomacy genuinely shape the outcome.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
