Simpsons Le Jeu lets you do both—along with playing as Marge, Lisa, and even Maggie in this weirdly charming DS adventure. The story’s as ridiculous as you’d expect (something about Homer accidentally becoming a hero?), and the gameplay’s a mix of brawling, puzzle-solving, and mini-games that actually feel like they belong in the Simpsons universe. My favorite part? The Springfield map is packed with dumb little references—just don’t expect the graphics to blow you away.
It’s janky in places, but if you grew up with the show, the humor makes up for it. I still laugh at Homer’s idle animations.
