Game Overview

Spear Resurrection came out in 1999 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Rafael Paiz. It was a fan-made follow-up to the original Wolfenstein 3D, arriving at a time when the classic corridor shooter formula was still holding on, even as newer engines were starting to push things forward.

You control a lone soldier fighting through a Nazi fortress, clearing room after room of guards and officers. The main goal is straightforward: find keys, unlock doors, and eliminate everything that moves. The game relies on screen-by-screen exploration, with secret walls hiding health and ammo, and it uses the same flat, sprite-based combat as its inspiration. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty can spike without much warning, especially when enemies flood a tight space. It feels like stepping directly back into that specific, claustrophobic kind of action where every corner could be your last.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
