Summer Games II came out in 1986 for MS-DOS, published by U.S. Gold Ltd. It was part of that wave of early PC sports games where the graphics were simple, the controls were unforgiving, and the fun came from competing against friends or just your own best times. You control an athlete from a chosen country across eight different Olympic events, including diving, cycling, and the triple jump. The main objective is to earn medals by performing well in each event, either alone or against other players. Signature mechanics involve rapid, timed key presses for actions like building speed in a sprint or timing a dive's rotation, combined with simple directional inputs for events like archery or skeet shooting. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
