Play Tetris Worlds (E)(Independent) Online
Rotate and shift falling tetrominoes to clear lines and prevent the stack from reaching the top in Tetris Worlds on Game Boy Advance.
I picked up Tetris Worlds for the Game Boy Advance back in 2002, published by THQ. It was one of those portable puzzle games that felt right at home on the GBA, a system that really leaned into quick, satisfying sessions. It didn't try to reinvent the wheel, just gave you Tetris in your pocket with a few extra ideas thrown in.
You control the falling tetrominoes, rotating and shifting them to form solid lines that vanish from the screen. The main goal is always survival, clearing lines to prevent the stack from reaching the top. This version introduced mechanics like the "Fusion" mode, where you combine special blocks to clear large sections at once, and "Square" mode, which challenges you to construct perfect 4x4 squares. The pacing stays steady, but the difficulty ramps up cleanly as the blocks drop faster. It feels focused and fluid, a game that rewards quick decisions and a calm hand.
