Game Overview
XS: Shield Up, Fight Back is a gritty, futuristic gladiator combat game set in a dystopian world where blood sports have been revived. Players take on the role of a hero investigating the disappearance of a presumed-dead associate, forced to compete in brutal arena battles where defeat means more than death—losers are recycled into fast food. The game features three distinct modes: Competition Mode, a single-player campaign with 20 arenas and ranked opponents; Grudge Mode, which lets players revisit past foes; and Network Game, supporting up to eight players (four human) in chaotic multiplayer battles. With its blend of tactical combat, dark humor, and a unique ranking system, XS offers a challenging and unforgiving take on arena shooters, rooted in the hard-edged style of classic MS-DOS action games.Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
