Game Overview

Zone Raiders is this weird little hovercar combat game from the mid-90s that somehow feels both janky and ahead of its time. You're basically piloting these futuristic vehicles through neon-lit cityscapes, dodging fire from rival raiders while trying to line up your own shots. The controls take some getting used to—your car slides around like it's on ice at first—but once it clicks, weaving between buildings at full speed while trading missiles with enemies is oddly satisfying.

The soundtrack absolutely slaps, too. Some industrial band called CONTAGIAN did the music, and the pulsing electronic beats fit perfectly with the whole cyberpunk vibe. Graphics were decent for '95, with these cool reflective surfaces on the hovercars that actually looked pretty slick when you weren't busy exploding.

It's one of those games that makes you wish someone would remake it with modern controls. Still holds up if you're into retro vehicular combat with a synth-heavy soundtrack.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
