Bazooka of the Red Dragon is the kind of game that boots up and immediately punches you in the face with explosions. No tutorials, no cutscenes—just you, a bazooka, and a screen full of pixelated enemies who really don’t like you. The first time I played, I died in about 10 seconds because I didn’t realize how fast those little soldiers could swarm.

The controls are simple—move, shoot, try not to explode—but the chaos escalates fast. One minute you’re picking off stragglers, the next you’re frantically backpedaling while rockets scream past your head. The pixel art has that crunchy MS-DOS charm, all jagged edges and fiery orange explosions that somehow feel more satisfying than modern effects.

It’s basically Contra’s unhinged cousin who only speaks in explosions. If you miss the days when games didn’t hold your hand and just let you blow stuff up, this is your jam.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
