Buck Rogers: Planet of Zoom came out in 1982 for MS-DOS as part of the Classic Games series, published by Sega. It was a time when wireframe graphics and simple, fast action were pushing what home computers could do, and this game fit right into that experimental, early arcade port scene.

You pilot a fighter through a tunnel of abstract obstacles, shooting enemy ships and avoiding collisions. The main goal is to survive as long as possible while racking up points. The game uses forced scrolling, so you’re always moving forward at a relentless pace, and the controls are responsive but unforgiving; one slight miscalculation ends your run. It feels like a tense, high-speed test of reflexes where every second demands your full attention.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
