Game Overview

Cash Invaders is one of those MS-DOS Classic Games releases that doesn't come with a lot of background information; it just appears on the disk, ready to run. It fits right into that era of straightforward, single-screen arcade-style games that didn't need a backstory or a publisher's name to be engaging. You load it up, and within seconds, you're in the action, no tutorials or lengthy introductions required.

You control a small laser cannon at the bottom of the screen, moving it left and right to shoot upward at waves of descending dollar bills and coins. Your objective is simple: destroy all the cash before it reaches the bottom. The invaders move in unpredictable patterns, sometimes zigzagging or speeding up as you clear more of them. If you miss too many, they pile up, reducing your space to maneuver and making each shot more critical. The game starts calmly but quickly escalates into a frantic test of reflexes and precision. It feels oddly satisfying to land a shot on a fast-dodging coin, with a simple sound effect confirming each hit.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
