Invaders 1978 is basically Space Invaders, but for DOS—which is funny because it came out in '96, not '78. The pixel aliens march down in that same hypnotic pattern, your little ship scoots left and right at the bottom, and yeah, it’s exactly what you’d expect. No surprises, just pure nostalgia. If you’ve played the arcade version, you already know the drill: shoot, dodge, repeat until the screen fills up with lasers. It’s simple, but there’s something satisfying about lining up those perfect shots while the soundtrack does its retro beeping thing. Honestly, it’s a solid way to kill 10 minutes if you miss the arcade vibe.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
