Game Overview

Commander Keen 6: Aliens Ate my Baby Sitter came out in 1991 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series from id Software. It was one of those side-scrolling platformers that felt right at home in an era dominated by keyboard controls and chunky, colorful graphics. The game continued the adventures of Billy Blaze, an eight-year-old kid who built a spaceship in his backyard and took on the role of intergalactic hero.

You control Keen as he explores a series of nonlinear levels, jumping across platforms and shooting aliens with his raygun. The main goal is to rescue your babysitter, Molly, who has been kidnapped by the evil Vorticon aliens. Signature mechanics include collecting keycards to unlock doors, hunting for hidden exits, and using pogo sticks to reach higher areas. The pacing is brisk, with some tricky jumps and enemy patterns that keep you alert. It feels like a clever, slightly chaotic playground where every screen holds a new surprise.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
