Play Dragon Lord Online

Dragon Lord came out in 1990 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Palace Software. It was a side-scrolling action game from that era, the kind you'd load from a floppy disk and play with simple keyboard controls. It fit right in with other fantasy adventures of the time, offering a straightforward quest without much pretense.

You control a knight tasked with rescuing a princess from a dragon's castle. You move screen by screen through the fortress, fighting skeletons and avoiding environmental hazards like spike pits. The combat relies on timing your sword swings and later using a bow for ranged attacks; you also collect keys to unlock doors and search for the pieces of a medallion needed to challenge the final boss. The game moves at a deliberate pace, and the difficulty is unforgiving, with enemies respawning if you leave a room. It feels like a methodical, sometimes frustrating crawl through a hostile castle where every new screen demands careful attention.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
