Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation came out on the Nintendo DS in 2011, developed and published by Square Enix. It was part of that era where a lot of classic JRPGs got thoughtful remakes, and the dual screens really helped keep menus and maps accessible without cluttering the adventure.

You control a hero who starts with amnesia, exploring two overlapping worlds (the real one and a dream version) to understand their connection and stop an overarching threat. The pacing is deliberate, with some old school dungeon design that expects you to pay attention to your resources. It feels like slowly unraveling a big, cozy mystery where every new town has its own little story to tell.
