Play Final Fantasy XII - Revenant Wings (EU) Online
Vaan’s back with a ragtag crew, but this time you’re summoning Espers mid-battle and micromanaging them like a frantic airship commander—those cute chibi models hide some surprisingly tough tactics.

Game Overview
Final Fantasy XII - Revenant Wings is one of those DS games that sneaks up on you—it starts off feeling like a lighter take on Ivalice, but before long, you're knee-deep in surprisingly tactical skirmishes. You’ve got Vaan and Penelo leading a crew of sky pirates (and a few familiar faces), but the real stars are the Espers—summonable units you deploy mid-battle like a weird, magical RTS.
The touchscreen controls actually work here, letting you tap and drag units around while pausing to issue commands. At first, I just brute-forced fights, but later missions punish that hard—you’ve gotta juggle melee, ranged, and flying units like some kind of airship traffic controller. Also, the chibi-style character models grow on you, even if they make Judge Gabranth look like an angry toddler in armor.
It’s not as heavy as the mainline FF games, but there’s a solid 30+ hours of content if you chase side quests. The writing’s decent, though don’t expect XII-level political drama—more like “let’s find treasure and maybe save the world along the way.”
