Gauntlet on the Sega Master System is basically the arcade classic squeezed into your living room—same frantic dungeon crawling, same ridiculous difficulty. You pick a warrior, wizard, elf, or valkyrie, then immediately get swarmed by ghosts, grunts, and those stupid floating death things while a robotic voice yells at you about needing food.

It’s one of those games where you’ll burn through lives in minutes if you’re not careful, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about spamming arrows into a crowd of skeletons. The maze layouts are brutal, health drains constantly, and good luck finding the exit before your buddies steal all the treasure. That "Wizard needs food badly" line still haunts me.

Honestly, it’s a mess—but the kind of mess you keep coming back to with friends just to suffer together.
