Space Ace came to the Super Nintendo in 1994, published by Empire Interactive. It was one of those games that stood out on the shelf, a full motion video title in an era dominated by sprites and polygons. You knew it was something different just by looking at the box.

You control Ace, a space hero trying to rescue his partner from the villain Borf. The game plays out through a series of animated sequences where you must press the correct button at the exact moment to dodge obstacles, fire your laser, or leap across gaps.
