Space Ace came to the Super Nintendo in 1994, a port of the laser disc arcade game by Cinematronics. It arrived during a time when the SNES was full of varied action titles, and this one stood out for its animated, cartoon-like presentation. You control the hero, Ace, through a series of animated action sequences. Your main goal is to rescue your partner, Kimberly, from the villain Borf. The gameplay involves quick reaction commands; you press specific buttons when prompted to dodge obstacles, fire your blaster, or make a crucial jump. The difficulty comes from memorizing these sequences, as the timing is strict and mistakes send you back.
