Game Overview

Remember that weird NES game where you'd suddenly switch from skateboarding to surfing? T&C Surf Designs nails that early '90s vibe—one minute you're dodging traffic and jumping ramps on a skateboard, the next you're wiping out on waves because you mistimed a turn. The controls take a second to get used to (why does crouching feel so stiff?), but once you get the rhythm, pulling off tricks feels oddly satisfying.

It's janky in that classic NES way—sometimes the collision detection seems unfair, and the graphics are basic even for the era—but there's something charming about how it throws you between two totally different sports without warning. The surfing section's sunset backdrop still looks kinda cool, though.

Definitely more of a nostalgia trip than a hidden gem, but worth a play if you dig oddball retro sports games.
