Play Tom & Jerry (Europe) Online

Dodge rolling pins as Jerry or chase mice as Tom—it’s pure cartoon chaos with all the slapstick and frying pans you’d expect. The speed catches you off guard at first, but nailing a perfect trap feels so good.

Game Overview

I picked up Tom & Jerry for the Super Nintendo back in the day, a 1992 release from Magic Bytes. It was one of those many licensed games that tried to capture the spirit of a cartoon on the console, sitting on the shelf next to platformers and beat 'em ups that defined that era of gaming.

You control either Tom or Jerry, each with their own set of objectives; Jerry is trying to gather pieces of cheese to build a rocket, while Tom is trying to stop him. The game plays out across a series of single-screen rooms where you set traps, throw objects like rolling pins and mousetraps, and generally cause as much cartoon havoc as possible. The pacing is frantic, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly, especially when the other character gets the upper hand. It feels exactly like controlling a short, interactive episode of the show, for better and for worse.
