Play Adv. Dungeons & Dragons - Dragon Strike Online

You’re a knight on a metal dragon—joust enemies out of the sky, roast them with fire breath, and try not to crash while dodging eye beams from below. The controls feel weird at first, but nailing a dive attack on a flying monster? Pure joy.

Game Overview

Dragon Strike is one of those NES games that makes you feel like you're actually riding a dragon—which, let's be honest, is all any of us really wanted as kids. You play as a knight on a metal dragon, jousting evil riders out of the sky with a lance or roasting them with fire breath. The controls take a minute to get used to—you’ve got to manage altitude while lining up attacks—but once it clicks, swooping down to claw a manticore never gets old.

Watch out for archers on the ground and those annoying beholders that shoot eye beams. The magic orb helps track enemies, but half the time I forget to use it because I’m too busy dive-bombing everything. Just don’t run out of breath attacks mid-battle, or you’ll be stuck doing awkward fly-bys until it recharges.

It’s janky in that classic NES way, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about the clunky dragon physics. You’ll either love it or throw the controller after the third time you clip a tree.
