Play Castlevania HOD : Revenge of the Findesiecle Online

Juste Belmont’s back, cracking his whip through a castle that shifts like a nightmare—only now the monsters are weirder and the pixel art’s even moodier. Still feels like classic GBA Castlevania, just with fresh surprises.

Game Overview

Okay, so this is one of those Castlevania romhacks—definitely not official, but if you've played Harmony of Dissonance before, this tweaks things in a fun way. You're still Juste Belmont, swinging that whip through a castle that keeps rearranging itself like some undead puzzle box. The original already had that perfect mix of gothic spookiness and tight controls, but here? Someone cranked up the weirdness just enough to make it feel fresh.

The pixel art pops even more than I remember—those deep purples and blood-red skies look fantastic on the GBA screen. And the bosses? Still ridiculous in the best way. One minute you're fighting a floating Medusa head, the next you're dodging chandeliers dropped by a vampire who clearly skipped interior design class.

What I love is how it keeps the classic Metroidvania loop: find a new ability, backtrack to that one door you couldn’t open before, and stumble into a hidden room packed with goodies. The spell combos feel a little smoother here too—mixing fire and wind actually does something useful instead of just looking cool. If you’ve got a soft spot for GBA-era Castlevania, this version’s worth a replay.
