Game Overview

I remember playing Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers: The Adventures in Nimnul's Castle back in the day. It came out in 1990 for MS-DOS, published by Hi-Tech Expressions, Inc. Back then, platformers were everywhere, and this one fit right in with its colorful graphics and familiar characters from the show. It wasn't trying to reinvent the wheel, just give fans a solid side-scrolling adventure.

You control Chip, with Dale following along and occasionally helping by tossing screws you collect. The goal is to rescue Gadget from Professor Nimnul's castle, moving screen by screen, avoiding enemies and traps like conveyor belts and electrical hazards. You jump on foes, grab items, and use screws to repair your plane between stages. The pacing is brisk, and some sections demand precise timing. It feels like a straightforward but engaging challenge, especially when you finally outsmart a tricky room.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
