Dirk the Daring is this lovably awkward knight trying to rescue Princess Daphne from Singe the dragon—classic damsel-in-distress stuff, but with way more falling into spike pits than you'd expect. The Amiga version only has the first half of the arcade game, so you’re basically just getting through the castle and facing the dragon, no sequel-bait cliffhangers here.

It’s one of those "press the right button at the right time" games where timing is everything. Miss a jump or fumble the sword swing, and Dirk faceplants into a trap like he’s auditioning for a slapstick comedy. The controls take some getting used to, but once you get the rhythm, it’s weirdly satisfying to barely dodge a swinging axe or out-stumble a skeleton.

Honestly, half the fun is watching Dirk flail around like he’s never seen stairs before. The dragon at the end? Yeah, good luck with that.
