Final Fantasy Tactics A2 throws you into Ivalice with a kid named Luso—he gets sucked into a magical book (because of course he does) and ends up in a world where every fight plays out like chess with swords. Classes matter—Viera assassins hit like trucks, but Moogle gunners are weirdly satisfying once you figure them out.

It’s got that classic FF job system where you unlock skills by wearing dumb hats (seriously, half your team ends up looking ridiculous), and the law system keeps battles from getting stale—some days you can’t use swords, other days healing spells backfire.
