Okay, so this is the Sega Master System version of Star Wars—basically a weird little mashup of side-scrolling and top-down shooting. You start off as Luke running through Tatooine, jumping over pits and blasting stormtroopers (the controls feel a bit stiff, but you get used to it). Then suddenly it switches to this overhead view where you’re in the X-wing dodging Tie Fighters. The graphics are super 8-bit, so don’t expect anything fancy, but there’s something charming about how janky the Death Star trench run looks. Honestly, it’s more fun than it has any right to be.
