The Legend of Kyrandia: Book 3 - Malcolm's Revenge came out in 1994 for MS-DOS, developed by Westwood Studios. It was part of that wave of point and click adventures that really defined PC gaming in the early to mid 90s, before 3D graphics took over. This one stood out because you weren't playing the hero for a change.

You control Malcolm, the jester villain from the first game, who is stripped of his powers and out for revenge. The gameplay involves exploring the world screen by screen, collecting items, and using them in often mischievous ways to cause trouble and progress. A key mechanic is the ability to combine items to create new tools or pranks, and Malcolm's own evil conscience frequently chimes in with sarcastic commentary. The puzzles can be quite tricky, sometimes relying on obscure logic, which gives the game a deliberate, thoughtful pace. It feels satisfying to finally outsmart a character or set up an elaborate, petty scheme just to see Malcolm's gleeful reaction.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
