Warring Worms takes the old Atari Surround formula and cranks it up—two worms slithering nonstop, leaving walls behind them like a twisted game of Snake. You’re constantly nudging the joystick to dodge while trying to box in the other worm. Mess up, and you’re a splat on your own trail.

There’s a weirdly satisfying tension in those tight turns, especially when you barely scrape past your own tail. And yeah, if your Atari’s set up right, you can blast the other worm’s head off—which feels way more chaotic than it should. First to 99 points wins, but honestly, half the fun is watching the screen fill up with neon worm graffiti.
