Game Overview

Man, Doctor Who: Dalek Attack on MS-DOS takes me back. You start off either as the Doctor or a companion—I always picked Sarah Jane—and immediately get thrown into this chaotic side-scroller where Daleks are just everywhere, screeching "EXTERMINATE!" while you dodge their death rays. The pixel art nails that cheap-but-charming '90s Doctor Who vibe, complete with wobbly sets and questionable special effects.

It's part shooter, part puzzle game—sometimes you're blasting Daleks with a weirdly overpowered sonic screwdriver, other times you're figuring out how to bypass their traps or jumping across platforms that feel just a tiny bit too floaty. The controls take some getting used to (this was the era of keyboard-only movement, after all), but there's something weirdly satisfying about outsmarting those stupid pepper pots.

If you grew up with classic Who or just love janky retro platformers, this is like finding a VHS tape of a lost episode—flaws and all, it's pure nostalgia. Just don't expect modern polish.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
