Dragon's Lair on the Amiga—specifically Disk 5—is one of those nostalgic trips that either makes you grin or groan, depending on how much patience you have for classic arcade-style gameplay. The animation still holds up in that charmingly janky way, with Dirk the Daring flailing through traps and dragon fire. It's all about timing your moves just right, or you'll watch him get toasted, squashed, or dropped into a pit for the hundredth time.

If you never played the original, expect a lot of trial and error. The controls can feel a little stiff by modern standards, but there's something satisfying about finally nailing a sequence after memorizing it. And yeah, the disk-swapping is part of the experience—hope you've got a working floppy drive.

Not for the easily frustrated, but a fun little piece of gaming history if you're into that.
