Game Overview

Shanghai II: Dragon’s Eye is one of those MS-DOS games that just sticks with you. It takes the familiar mahjong solitaire formula—matching pairs of tiles to clear the board—but wraps it in this moody, almost mystical atmosphere. The layouts are way more intricate than the first game, with these swirling dragon-eye patterns that make you pause before every move.

The tiles themselves are gorgeous, all carved with detailed symbols that actually make you want to take your time. And that soundtrack? Pure late-'90s relaxation—like someone bottled the vibe of a quiet temple and turned it into MIDI music. I remember getting stuck on some of the later boards for ages, but in a good way, where you don’t even mind because the whole thing just feels so deliberate.

If you’ve got a soft spot for classic puzzle games with a little extra soul, this one’s worth digging up.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
